TIME TO CELEBRATE
Food. Wine. Fun.
It's been quite the journey and we wouldn't be here without the love and support (and patience) of our friends and family who have been with us every step of the way.

We could think of nothing better than to bring together the people who have been part of our story, from all over the world, for one big, multi-day celebration.

So we found a big house in our favorite slice of France to host us.
Join us in celebrating this milestone with great food, even better wine, friends, family, and la belle vie.
WHEN
Thursday, August 29th through Sunday, September 1st
(US Labor Day Weekend).

The "official" party will be on
Saturday, August 31st
WHERE
Chateau Soulac
Celebration HQ is set in the picturesque Saint Emilion Region of southwest France. Chateau Soulac is a private chateau we’ve secured to host our events throughout the long weekend.
The chateau is located just over an hour outside of Bordeaux and twenty minutes from Saint Emilion town, through the vineyards and the river valley of the Gironde.

You can find a great overview of the region here

GENERAL INFO
WHAT TO WEAR
Thursday and Sunday are casual events. Wear whatever is comfortable and bring a bathing suit for Sunday!
Saturday’s Soiree is a more formal affair. While there isn’t a strict dress code, it’s a great opportunity to get all dolled up with us. We’ll have a professional photographer capturing the fun (and portraits!) so wear what makes you feel fab. If you still aren’t sure, we put together some ideas
The weather tends to be in the mid-to-high 20C/70F and above and can cool down in the evening so you may want to bring a layer.
TRAVEL
The closest airports to the venue are Bordeaux (1hr15 drive away) and smaller airport Bergerac (~1hr drive away).
There are regular flights direct to Bordeaux from many European capitals including most London airports.
From Paris there are flights but also the high speed TGV train directly to Bordeaux (only takes 2.5hrs)

Please make sure to book your flights and travel arrangements as early as possible to get the best deals.
GETTING AROUND
The best way to get to Château Soulac and to explore the area is by car.
At both Bordeaux and Bergerac airport there are the standard car rental companies (Sixt, Hertz, Avis, Enterprise) which we would recommend booking in advance.
Bordeaux does have a wider selection as it is a much bigger airport so you may wish to bear that in mind when booking your flights.
Ubers and Taxis are available locally.

For those not staying at Chateau Soulac or Villa Edith, we have arranged taxis and shuttle for Saturday. There is plenty of parking at Chateau Soulac.
CAR TIP: The default is manual transmission in Europe so make sure you’re selecting an automatic rental car if you need it. For the most part, Google Maps is your friend, but you may want to download maps or directions ahead of time as the service in more rural areas can be spotty.
